Dear CLS Families:
I hope everyone has had a wonderful, relaxing summer. It’s hard to imagine that the 2011-2012 school has begun. It seems that just a short time ago we were planning what we would be doing with our summer break.
I would like to welcome all the families to Custom Language Schooling with its Spanish program. I know that you will enjoy this year every teacher at CLS is happy to see you.

CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is based on games, songs and hands -on activities. We have added a conversational pattern in which the children will be asking and answering more questions to build up their vocabulary. We change the vocabulary around; this will give the children more opportunities to use their new language outside the classroom. If you have any questions regarding our curriculum, classes or any other concern, please let us know so we can improve the quality of our class.

I firmly believe all of our achievements are due to the most hard working, dedicated, and supportive staff, children and parents. Thank you for the difference you make in CLS Spanish program. I look forward to sharing the upcoming year with all of you.

UPCOMING EVENTS
October: This month of October your child may bring a friend to class. Just let CLS and your home room teacher know what day so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

February: We will celebrate our Spanish Fiesta. Every Spanish class will perform a little song, dance or skit for you. More information will be announced later.

April: Our traditional Spanish fieldtrip to a Mexican restaurant.
